Not all lawyers are the same.
Our law firm is comprised of profoundly skilled attorneys who stand out from the rest.
Contrary to what some people may think, not all lawyers are the same. In fact, there are multiple distinguishing factors that set some lawyers apart from the rest. When it comes to resolving legal matters efficiently, it makes all the difference in the world to have access to a lawyer who is highly experienced in his or her fields of expertise, has a renowned reputation of excellence and illustrates high ethical standards in all he or she does.
At Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant, L.L.P., our professional legal team boasts highly distinguished lawyers who practice law in a manner that extends beyond the status quo – and they have the awards and accolades to prove it.
Board Certified Attorneys
In the state of Texas, there are more than 70,000 lawyers who are licensed to practice law. Only 7,000 of them possess Board Certification. Board Certification is a mark of excellence that shows a lawyer has illustrated substantial achievement and mastery of his or her area of law expertise after practicing for at least five years. Being Board Certified requires a lawyer to seek continued legal education, renewal of certification and have a high involvement in a specific area of law. Lawyers who are Board Certified in their areas of expertise have attained one of the most distinguished accomplishments in the field of law, and our firm is proud to have several Board Certified lawyers on our legal team. Richard Hayes and Don White are Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law as well as Residential Real Estate Law. Further, Brian Tackett is our firm’s Board Certified Family Attorney.
Our North Texas law firm is lucky to have three Super Lawyers on our legal team. A Super Lawyer is an attorney who has attained an advanced degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in his or her area(s) of law expertise, and becoming one is an incredibly selective process that involves multiple stages. In fact, only five percent of lawyers who are nominated become Super Lawyers. At Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant, Richard Hayes, Don White and Brian Tackett are our firm’s Super Lawyers.
AV Preeminent Lawyers
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings, generated from a series of evaluations from contemporary attorneys and other members of the bar and judiciary, serve to illustrate a lawyer’s elevated standards when it comes to ethical behavior and professional ability. Ratings are numerically based on a scale of one to five and take into account a lawyer’s legal knowledge and experience, analytical prowess, judgment and ability to communicate. The ratings a lawyer can receive are:
- Rated (1.0 to 2.9)
- BV Distinguished (3.0 to 4.4)
- AV Preeminent (4.5 to 5.0).
