HBWV would like to welcome Colby G. Berry to the firm! Colby comes to us from the Thomas J. Henry Law firm in Corpus Christi and is the son of partner Byron Berry. He is a hardworking attorney who works tirelessly to obtain his clients’ goals, by building his practice on a foundation of compassion, creativity, and ambition. Colby pursues the best possible end-result while keeping a consistent focus on his clients’ immediate needs. He will be practicing Family Law under partner Brian Tackett.
Colby, an Eagle Scout, was born and raised in Denton and graduated from Denton High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University. He earned his law degree from the Texas A&M School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Colby spent time as a Congressional Intern in the Office of U.S. Congressman Michael C. Burgess.
Colby maintained his focus on extra-curricular opportunities throughout law school by clerking with The Honorable Judge Sally Montgomery in the Dallas County Court-at-Law 3. He also interned with the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas, a non-profit organization which represents victims of violence from all over the world.
