About

Margaret earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Journalism from Texas Christian University in 2022, graduating with Departmental Honors in Political Science. She later attended the University of Missouri School of Law on a merit scholarship, earning her J.D. in 2025.

While at Missouri, Margaret served as an associate member of the Missouri Law Review, where she edited professional legal articles and published her own case note, “The Buck Stops Here: Missouri Legislature’s Defunding of Abortion Providers,” 90 Mo. L. Rev. (2025). She also interned for Judge Carmen P. White at Dallas County Criminal Court #8, with the Dallas County
District Attorney’s Office, and later clerked for Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant, LLP.

Margaret was licensed to practice law in Texas in October 2025 and now works with Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant, LLP, focusing on business disputes, transactions, and civil litigation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones and her dog, Hank, as well as crocheting and painting.
